Joomla and web standards - 2007/05/11 14:10
I'm in the planning stages of moving my library's website to using a CMS, and am very intrigued by the the things Joomla has to offer.
One of the criticisms I've read about Joomla is it isn't the best when it comes to web standards (producing W3C compliant html/xhtml, using tables for only tabular data, following accessibility guidelines, etc.). I have a pretty strong interest in web standards, and I want sites I'm responsible for to adhere to those standards.
So, for those of you actually using Joomla, how does it perform when it comes to web standards?
