Click here to see the profile of this user 		Ludo_highlightsearch Bot - 2007/02/22 15:35 I highly recommend this new mambot (http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,1841/Itemid,35/) from The Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (http://www.kuleuven.be/english/).

I added the bot to my site in just a few minutes, added a few suggested Internet site, published the bot, cleaned out my content cache and BAM -- I had a great search addition to my website (http://www.acfpl.org).

The Ludo_highlightsearch allows you to highlight any text in website content and then search specified Internet sites for that highlighted text. I've added a "Library catalog" search as well. It is not exactly what I would like to a Z39.50 search but it's not bad.

Also, I discovered a few hours after installing that if you are browsing my site with Mozilla Firefox version 1.---- and not Firefox 2.---, the bot does not
apply the highlighted text to the search and requires you to re-enter the search string into a search dialog window. I did report this to the bot developer.
I do not have Safari, Avant, Opera Browsers and am wondering if the same problem occurs.
