Looking for calendar module - 2007/04/27 17:18 What is the calendar module being used at the South Carolina site, and does it sync with Outlook, or any other calendar system?

Re:Looking for calendar module - 2007/04/27 17:26 Thanks for asking! SCSL is using Extcalendar Component and modules.

You can find it here

As far as I know it does not sync with Outlook. It can be modified to work with some other Joomla calendar components, for example Eventlist, which has event registration functionalities.

I'm current working on integrating these two.

Hope this helped!

Re:Looking for calendar module - 2007/04/27 17:48 I've been experimenting with JCal Pro. I like it thus far. Check it out here. Demo it here.

We also incorporated the mini calendar and upcoming events modules.

Re:Looking for calendar module - 2007/04/27 18:09 I used the original Mambo Events Calendar for a year and liked the functionality. I experimented with both JCal Pro and ExtCalendar but did not use them once I noticed that the Mambo Events Calendar has been updated for Joomla. This extension is JEvents located at http://forge.joomla.org/sf/projects/jevents .

The development cycle is good and there is promising enhancement talk concerning Joomla 1.5 version compatibility as well as import and export iCal data.
