I am a music collector and I do have a large collection (> 6,000 items) of Cds/LPs.

It is my intention to set up a personal music library with Joomla! No audio files (for the moment ...), just information about the music (series, albums, artists, genres, ...).

I want to be able to manage my entire collection online and give my visitors insight in my collection.

Since Joomla! is new for me, I wonder if someone is willing to set this up with me.

Your help is really appreciated!

My immediate thought is of the Collections Component

http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,3588/Itemid,35/

It will allow you to have categories and sub-categories as well as images of the cd's, reviews and ratings.

If you need help with customizing it write back.
