Joomla on Windows in 10 minutes - 2007/04/08 17:32
Hello Everyone,
For the last few years, I've enjoyed using Mambo and Joomla on a Linux Server. But I wanted to work on Joomla stuff while on the road with my Windows XP Laptop as well as be able to demo Joomla to people and not rely on an Internet connection where ever I go.
The answer? Joomla Stand Alone Server (JSAS)http://jsas.joomlasolutions.com/
I downloaded and installed this puppy on a DELL Latitude D600 and was up and running in 10 minutes. I highly recommend JSAS if you would like to practice an install, try, beta test a component etc. or learn Joomla.
