You mentioned that because it is open source we can modify it to meet our needs. That's great, but will it produce compliant, accessible code out of the box, or do you have to do a lot of tweaking in order to get it to produce compliant code?

You're right when you say following accessibility guidelines doesn't make your site usable. When our website when through a redesign a year or so ago the user testing we did was very worthwhile.

By the way, I was at your Computer's in Libraries presentation last month, and it was very interesting. That's what got me looking into Joomla.
