Community Resource Database - 2007/03/12 22:27
I am using the Sigsiu Online Business Index 2 ( SOBI2) component: http://www.sigsiu.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=163&Itemid=147
to build a Community Resource database for the Southern New Jersey area at the Library website:
http://www.acfpl.org/index.php?option=com_sobi2&Itemid=310
Users can log in to the website and submit an organization for approval. Library staff are in the process of adding organizations as well. There are some really nice features of the component that include the ability of editing your own organization record if you have registered with the Library site and submitted the data yourself.
The component is robust and solid. I highly recommend it!
