Staff Site - is it like a extranet? Do you have a URL I could visit?

- For a centralized place for system policies and related documents, why not use a Document Management System like Docman... only authorized people (assign previliages to users) can view and upload documents and such... assign a manager to approve documents uploaded by users.
- You can use a FAQ component, such as, Simple FAQ to organized Questions and Answers. Again, authorized users can post questions and answers.
- As far as staff training calendar, there are a few calender components, such as, Eventlist or Extcalender. Authorized users can post training events and such. Administrator can approve these events
