Are Flickr Modules Good for Library Websites? - 2007/05/02 13:06 This thread discusses the Content article: Are Flickr Modules Good for Library Websites?

In general I find linking to similar 3rd party features easier for load time.

We did use a photo extension for our Joomla Big Read site ( http://www.bigreadok.com ) and had problems with the code on various pages as well as strange formatting issues occasionally -- so I'm of the thought now to save the time of the user and if they want to see the photos I'll make a clear link to them and they can visit them (like we are doing on our Red Dirt Book festival site [underdevelopment] http://reddirt.pls.lib.ok.us/ ).

All that being said -- I am letting our intern use the flickr badge on the summer read site she designed (not using joomla) http://pioneer.lib.ok.us/teens/Summer07/index.html
