I use the Simple Image Gallery on my site to insert whole galleries of photos into content. It even comes with a JCE wysiwyg editor plugin so that editors can just insert the {gallery}...{/gallery} code.
I've have also used Expose with no problems but find that the Simple Image Gallery is more useful since you can insert galleries right into your content.
I understand that social networking aspect of Flickr and its value but I am also interested in the Joomla painting pages up on the screen in a timely fashion, as well as a few other concerns. Having the luxury of my own server in the Library with plenty of drive space, dual processors and memory helps too.
