Thanks Jimmy! See attached.

It's really not that complicated. We could get it done in like a week, right?

I have been using JEvents for a few months. It is a rewrite of the old Mambo Events Calendar. The reason I am using this extension is that the developers are actually active in writing and improving the code. The next version, which should be out any day, will have the ability to import iCal data.

Bob, thank you!

I had no idea what you were talking about in regard to ICal yesterday. Funny thing is - I had someone asking me today if the Joomla Calendar I'm using support ICal Data exchange. My understanding now is that ICal is the industry standard for calendar application. I'm adding 'ICal Data Support" on my wish list for a Joomla Calendar.

I tested JEvents and liked its functionalities. But it doesn't have all that we needs. I guess I'm looking for a Omega Calendar that is highly flexible as a event calendar and robust as a event registration system.

i know this is on old post, over 2 years old, but JEvents seems to be the best event calendar component and it has excellent supporting modules as well.

I agree... JEvents is the best Joomla event calendar comparing to others. I use a component called DT Register (commercial component $75) along with JEvent for event registrations. They work fairly well.

I was just at Joomla Day NYC on Monday, October 12th and had the opportunity to meet some of the JEvents people. They are doing a lot more developing. This is a solid extension with good support and promise for enhancements.
