The Atlantic City Free Public Library redeisgned their website in 2005 and launched its new web page using Mambo CMS in February 2006. In January 2007, the Library migrated to Joomla CMS. This presentation is an introduction to Content Management Systems (CMS), explaining the difference between the standard HTML website and the more dynamic and managable CMS. I give a basic breakdown of the structure of Joomla as well as give screenshots of the installation process. The presentation also gives examples of extensions that could be used in Libraries.
